Lesson 05 · Punctuality
Being Late Is a Decision
Punctuality signals respect. Lateness signals the opposite, every time.
What to do
- 1
Arrive 10–15 early. At the building — enough buffer to walk in calm.
- 2
Check in 5 before. Showing up at reception 20 minutes early puts quiet pressure on the interviewer.
- 3
Plan the route the day before. Traffic, parking, transit — decide it all in advance.
- 4
Buffer beats rushing. Technically on time but visibly flustered still sets a bad tone.
- 5
Virtual: log in 5 early. And test your mic, camera, and link well before that.
- 6
Running late? Say so. Call or email the moment you know — never just show up late.
